Do ask – do tell?

We are at work humans with all aspects of life. We talk at work about our private life. And we tell how we spent the weekend with our friends.

And when someone asks, do you have a girlfriend? What shall we say? “No – and I'm not looking for one – but I am seeking a boyfriend!” Shall we give such a remark to identify, one is gay? Is such a coming-out necessary, advisable or better we don't tell? Do we need to live a double life in order to be accepted at work and to have better chances making career? Will we come up against a glass ceiling, when we are out?

Every gay person has to make the decision, wether to tell or not, by his own situation and by himself. It may results drawbacks if we reveal nothing about ourself – it may results disadvantages when we say that we are gay! But unfortunately there is no coming-out by trying and testing it out!

That furthermore there is no question to be gay, there is no reason to hide it and everybody can live his own way of life out of the closet, we stand for.
