NETWORK is an organization of gay men:
- who take a “leading” role in their professions, in politics, in society and culture and who have no problem with their “elitist” characteristic. Around half the members hold higher education degrees;
- who undertake active NETWORKing with other personalities and maintain a private network of friendships with some of the other members;
- who engage themselves personally in NETWORK by making an active contribution toward developing the organization’s many and diverse cultural and societal activities;
- who personally get to know NETWORK members from throughout Switzerland;
- who are older than 25 years of age.
NETWORK offers its members:
- regional groups with an attractive program in Basel, Berne, Geneva, Lausanne, Lucerne, St. Gallen and Zurich; the setting up of further regional groups is welcomed and supported;
- extraordinary and unique cultural and social events;
- an extraordinary relationship network to foster personal and professional development;
- competence and support for questions involving the position of homosexual people in the professional world and in society;
- personal and business contact possibilities through foreign partner organizations.

What the members of NETWORK appreciate most
NETWORK supported me in finding my own identity. I recognized that I was gay rather early in my life. However, there is a difference between coming out to your personal circle of friends and going public within the framework of an organization.
I had never really been directly politically active, but NETWORK made me aware of just how important it is to society for gay people to come out, particularly managers. This can really be encouraging for young people who are just getting started in their career or profession.
NETWORK brings a wide spectrum of characters together – which really opens up the possibilities!
NETWORK is a good place to meet gay men and provides a platform for an entirely different type of meeting than the usual gar bar encounter.
I have met some really great people through NETWORK. Some of them have become good friends and I have regular contact with some of the others as well.
I find the mixture of young and old in NETWORK fascinating. The intergenerational exchanging of opinions is really stimulating.
I am always pleasantly surprised to experience just how many NETWORK members attempt to make a difference, entirely upon their own initiative.
NETWORK is a place where I can be with people that I like, which whom I get along well without having to maintain a facade.
NETWORK enables me to continually meet new and interesting men who have an entirely different background. That is so enriching.
