Costa Rica Permanent Mission to the World Trade Organization

I joined Costa Rica's Permanent Mission to the World Trade Organization in 1997 and came out at work 3 years later. I had met someone and realised it was time to come out. I was a bit scared. Since I did lots of things with my colleagues, I wanted to talk to them about my boyfriend and bring him along. My colleagues reacted very well and continued to support me. We’ve been invited to official functions as a couple. Being gay isn’t a problem where I work. The photo shows me with the whole team, including my boss, the ambassador.
