Network Berne has more than 100 members. It was founded in 1997 as the second regional group after Zurich. Whether exhibition or theatre visits, discussion or lecture evenings, hiking or skiing weekends: The Berne regional programme is as diverse as its members. Among the highlights of the year are the annual New Year's Reception, the Regional Assembly and the traditional „Chlousenabend“ (Saint Nicholas Eve‘).
The weekly aperitif – regularly combined with a joint dinner, a thematic input (ApéroPlus) or an insight into the life of one of our members (ApéroPersönlich) - offers the opportunity to exchange ideas with other members, guests or interested parties in a relaxed atmosphere. We regularly exchange contact with the Wybernet Network and are also happy to attend "queer" events in and around Berne. The annual membership fee means that most events are free of charge.
Network Berne meets for drinks on Tuesdays from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the centre of Berne. Meetings are sometimes followed by dinner.
