network organizes and supports public academic events and conferences on LGBTI issues, and also gives its backing to selected research projects.
One of the research projects supported by network is the www.schwulengeschichte.ch website. This is the first comprehensive archive of the Swiss gay movement, which it documents with text, image, sound and film material.
Since 2014 network has been involved in a new research project and, together with Z&H (LGBTIQ+ Students Zurich), is patron of the Institute of Queer Studies (IQS). The IQS aims to support and publicize academic studies and findings on LGBTI issues. It also supports knowledge sharing and interdisciplinary networking between academics working in these areas. Its programme of regular talks provides information on studies that are relevant to the LGBTI community.
