We are an alliance of gay and bisexual men who show commitment and shoulder responsibility.

Who we are

Together, we form the Swiss network organization. As managers we work to make openness, respect, social diversity, inclusion and equality the cornerstones of our society. The association gives us a network of contacts, enabling us to forge connections that serve our personal and professional development. Thanks to the expertise of our members, network is able to engage with LGBTI issues in the political, cultural, business and social sectors.

Our goals

It used to be common for gay men to hide their sexual orientation. It was not until the civil rights movement of 1968 and the Stonewall riots of 1969 that public awareness of LGBTI people started to grow. To a large extent, the revision of the Swiss Criminal Code in 1992 and introduction of the Same-Sex Partnership Act in 2005 gave homosexual people in Switzerland equal legal status.

However, many gay and lesbian people still hesitate before coming out at work and feel anxious about revealing their sexual orientation. The number of openly gay men on the executive boards or boards of directors of large public companies remains low.

Our association

network wants to change this. As an alliance of gay managers, artists, freelancers and students, we aim to act as role models. We want young people to feel empowered to openly and confidently express their identity at work and achieve career success.

We use our resources and leadership skills to encourage social diversity and acceptance of LGBTI people, not just in the workplace but also in the cultural and political spheres. Together with our partner organizations in Switzerland, we work to promote equality of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals in our society.

Alongside a varied programme of cultural activities, network offers its members a platform for personal and professional networking. The association now has eight regional groups in Basel, Berne, Geneva, Lausanne, Zurich, Central and Eastern Switzerland and Ticino. They run a wide range of activities, providing opportunities to generate new ideas, tackle joint projects and form closer social connections that are the basis of a well lived life. Our members also participate in various working groups on a voluntary basis.
